Special Needs School in Bangalore

Amnivas Special School (Unit of KPMS Vidhyaarogya Foundation) is running successfully since 2016.

1:4 is the ratio with age group of 2 years to 11 years. School is functioning in two different programmes. i.e., Half & Full day.

We have qualified special educators to work with children with special needs. The school programme focuses on self-help skills, group therapy, communication skills, cognitive ability & motor skills. The other activities includes yoga, art, music, puppet therapy & story telling.

We have 60 volunteers
Donations like blankets, toys in pediatric ward, counselling in palliative care unit at KIDWAI Memorial Hospital, Bangalore.
Regular visit at Rangadore Hospital to counsel for dialysis patients.

We provide remedial therapyfor children with learning difficulties, learning disability [dyslexia, dysgraphia & dyscalculia]. Remedial programmes are used to address gaps in basic skills, target on reading, writing and math weaknesses.

EARLY INTERVENTION Programme

Early Intervention is provided with appropriate therapies for children with disabilities, to minimize their delays and maximize their chances of reading normal milestones in development. The important features to include in early intervention are the age of the child, time of intervention, nature and severity of disability.
